Snow mode effects throttle input mostly and really effects the AWD system. You can change these modes at any speed, from ECO to Dynamic, from Dynamic to snow, it doesn't hurt the car. 2022 SVR.
Pads still have 50% left. In the uk Jaguar dealers quote was for 2 x brake pads, sensors and discs (rotors) was £650. I took my 2018 to a local dealer and they charged £150 for pads and sensors and said new discs were not needed. The pads are JLR approved. Thr garage took under an hour to fit also with new wipers.

The newer cars have electronic parking brakes. When you put the car in park the rear brakes automatically clench. Need an Autel or dealer level software tool to tell it to unclench for maintenance.
